
Two people are dead after an attack near a synagogue in Manchester. Police say the man who did it is also believed to be dead. He was shot by officers.
The attack happened on Thursday morning. A car was driven toward people. A man also had a knife and stabbed people.
Police arrived quickly. They told the man to stop. When he did not listen, they shot him.
The situation was dangerous. Police thought the man might have a bomb. A bomb disposal team came to the scene. People heard a loud explosion later.
Three other people were hurt. They are in the hospital in serious condition.
