पीएम मोदी ने सेंगोल को नए संसद भवन में किया स्थापित
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने ऐतिहासिक सेंगोल को नए संसद भवन में स्थापित कर दिया है. पीएम मोदी ने तमिलनाडु से आए अधीनम संतों के मंत्रोच्चार के बाद सेंगोल को लोकसभा में स्पीकर की चेयर के पास स्थापित किया. इसके बाद उन्होंने नए संसद भवन का उद्घाटन किया.
दोपहर 12.40 बजे 75 रुपये का सिक्का जारी करेंगे पीएम
देश के नए संसद भवन के उद्घाटन पर लोकसभा स्पीकर ओम बिड़ला, पीएम मोदी और राज्यसभा के उपसभापति हरिवंश संबोधित करेंगे. पीएम मोदी 12 बजे संसद भवन पहुंचेंगे, जिसके बाद राज्यसभा के उपसभापति हरिवंश सभी का स्वागत करेंगे. इस दौरान 'संसद का नव निर्मित भवन' शॉर्ट फिल्म की स्क्रीनिंग की जाएगी. इसके बाद सेंगोल पर बनी शॉर्ट फिल्म की स्क्रीनिंग होगी.
राष्ट्रपति और उपराष्ट्रपति का संदेश राज्यसभा के डिप्टी स्पीकर द्वारा सुनाया जाएगा. लोकसभा स्पीकर ओम बिड़ला के संदेश के बाद पीएम मोदी दोपहर 12.40 बजे 75 रुपये का सिक्का और स्टाम्प जारी करेंगे. इस दौरान पीएम मोदी नई संसद में संबोधित भी करेंगे. पीएम मोदी तीन ग्रुप के साथ फोटो सेशन भी करेंगे. जिनमें श्रमजीवी (75), हाउसिंग मंत्रालय और CPWD अधिकारियों (60) और टाटा प्रोजेक्ट्स लिमिटेड (61) शामिल हैं.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने नवनिर्मित संसद भवन स्थित लोकसभा चैम्बर में लोकसभा स्पीकर के आसन के निकट रविवार को ऐतिहासिक राजदंड 'सेंगोल' को स्थापित किया. रविवार को सुबह ही नया संसद भवन वैदिक मंत्रोच्चार के बीच हुए समारोह में राष्ट्र को समर्पित किया गया है.
ऐतिहासिक 'सेंगोल' के बारे में 5 तथ्य...
लोकसभा अध्यक्ष के आसन के पास स्थापित किए गए राजदंड को 'सेंगोल' कहा जाता है - जो तमिल शब्द 'सेम्मई' से उपजा है, जिसका अर्थ है 'सत्य का साथ'.
केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा था कि 'सेंगोल' ने भारतीय इतिहास में अहम भूमिका निभाई है. यह राजदंड अंग्रेज़ों से भारतीयों को सत्ता के हस्तांतरण को चिह्नित करने के लिए भारत के पहले प्रधानमंत्री पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू को सौंपा गया था.
वर्ष 1947 में तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू को सौंपे जाने के बाद से यह राजदंड 'सेंगोल' उत्तर प्रदेश में प्रयागराज के एक म्यूज़ियम में रखा हुआ था.
नए संसद भवन में लोकसभा अध्यक्ष के आसन के समीप स्थापित किए जाने से पहले सेंगोल को तमिलनाडु के विभिन्न अधीनमों के लगभग 30 पुरोहितों द्वारा प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को सौंपा गया.
कहा जाता है, 'सेंगोल' जिसे दिया जाता है, उससे न्यायपूर्ण और निष्पक्ष शासन प्रदान करने की अपेक्षा की जाती है.

नया संसद भवन एक तिकोने आकार में डिजाइन किया गया है और इस में लोकसभा में 888 सीटें हैं और विजिटर्स गैलरी में 336 से ज्यादा लोग बैठ सकते हैं. दूसरी ओर नई राज्यसभा में 384 सीटें हैं और विजिटर्स गैलरी में 336 से ज्यादा लोग बैठने में सक्षम रहेंगे.

Owaisi On Parliament Inauguration: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने आज (28 मई) संसद के नवनिर्मित भवन का उद्घाटन कर दिया. इस दौरान पीएम मोदी के साथ लोकसभा के अध्यक्ष ओम बिरला भी मौजूद रहे. विपक्ष के विरोध के बीच हुए इस कार्यक्रम को भव्य बनाने के लिए पूरी तैयारी की गई थी. वहीं, प्रधानमंत्री के हाथों उद्घाटन को लेकर एआईएमआईएम नेता और हैदराबाद से सांसद असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने निशाना साधा. इसके साथ ही ओवैसी ने संसद भवन की तुलना ताबूत से करने पर आरजेडी की आलोचना की.
ओवैसी ने कहा, बेहतर होता अगर लोकसभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिरला नए संसद भवन का उद्घाटन करते. आरजेडी के ट्वीट पर उन्होंने कहा, राजद का कोई स्टैंड नहीं, पुराने संसद भवन को दिल्ली फायर सर्विस से क्लीयरेंस तक नहीं था. वे (राजद) संसद को ताबूत क्यों कह रहे हैं? वे कुछ और भी कह सकते थे, उन्हें यह एंगल लाने की क्या जरूरत है?
गोडसे को बताया पहला आतंकवादी
एआईएमएम नेता ने कहा, कोई और मिसाल भी दे सकते थे. कभी सेक्युलर बोलते हैं, कभी भाजपा से निकले हुए नीतीश कुमार को अपना मुख्यमंत्री बना लेते हैं. उन्होंने 28 मई को उद्घाटन की तारीख पर भी बीजेपी को निशाने पर लिया और कहा, देश का सबसे पहला आतंकवादी नाथूराम गोडसे था और गोडसे काण्ड में भी सावरकर की भूमिका थी. बता दें, 28 मई के दिन वीर सावरकर का जन्म हुआ था ।
आरजेडी ने किया था विवादित ट्वीट
संसद भवन के उद्घाटन समारोह का कांग्रेस, आरजेडी, टीएमसी, आप, डीएमके समेत 21 दलों ने विरोध किया है. इन दलों का कहना है कि राष्ट्रपति के हाथों संसद भवन का उद्घाटन कराया जाना चाहिए था. उद्घाटन के मौके पर विरोध करते हुए आरजेडी ने एक विवादित ट्वीट कर संसद के नवनिर्मित भवन की तुलना कफन से कर दी.
आरजेडी ने एक तस्वीर ट्वीट की है जिसमें एक तरफ नया संसद भवन है, जबकि दूसरी तरफ एक ताबूत की तस्वीर हैं. इसके ऊपर आरजेडी ने कैप्शन दिया- ये क्या है? आरजेडी के ट्वीट पर बीजेपी नेताओं ने तीखी प्रतिक्रिया दी है. बिहार के पूर्व डिप्टी सीएम और बीजेपी नेता सुशील कुमार मोदी ने ताबूत से तुलना पर आरजेडी नेताओं पर देशद्रोह का केस दर्ज करने की मांग की है.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Parliament building Sunday morning.
Dressed in a traditional attire, Mr. Modi walked into the Parliament premises from its Gate No. 1 and was welcomed by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
Amid Vedic chants by priests from Karnataka's Shringeri Math, the Prime Minister performed "Ganapati Homam" to invoke Gods to bless the inauguration of the new Parliament building.
The Prime Minister prostrated before the "Sengol" and sought blessings from high priests of various adheenams in Tamil Nadu with the holy sceptre in hand.
Mr. Modi then carried the "Sengol" in a procession amid tunes of "nadaswaram" and chanting of Vedic mantras to the new Parliament building and installed it in a special enclosure on the right side of the Speaker's chair in the Lok Sabha chamber.
Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, S. Jaishankar and Jitendra Singh, Chief Ministers of several States and BJP president J.P. Nadda was present on the occasion.
The Prime Minister felicitated some workers who played key roles in the construction of the new Parliament building.
BJP Wants Treason Case Over RJD's Coffin Post On New Parliament Building
The BJP today hit out at the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) over a tweet comparing the new parliament building's shape to that of a coffin, saying those behind the Twitter post should be charged with treason.
Sushil Kumar Modi, Rajya Sabha MP and former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, told news agency ANI, "What can be more unfortunate than this? They have no brains. This new parliament building has been built with public money. Representatives of all parties, even if they have boycotted the inauguration, will be attending parliament proceedings there. Has the RJD decided to permanently boycott parliament? Will their MPs resign from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha?
"They have used a coffin's picture. What can be more disrespectful? It shows the political party's cheap mindset. This is an auspicious day, a day of pride for the country when a new parliament is being dedicated to the nation. And it is being compared to a coffin. That's the photo they have tweeted. A case of sedition must be registered against such people," said Mr Modi.
BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said, "People of the country will bury you in the same coffin in 2024 and will not give you the opportunity to enter the new temple of democracy. It is decided that the parliament building belongs to the country and the coffin to you."
Explaining the post from the RJD"s official handle, RJD's Shakti Singh Yadav said, "The coffin in our tweet is a representation of democracy being buried. The parliament is the temple of democracy, a place for dialogue. But they want to take them in a different direction. The country will not accept that. This is a violation of Constitution and tradition. The President is the all in all of parliament as per the Constitution. We urge the Prime Minister not to put democracy in a coffin."
The Tejashwi Yadav-led RJD is among 20 political parties that have boycotted the grand opening of the new parliament, questioning why Prime Minister Narendra Modi was inaugurating the new building.
Prime Minister Modi's decision to inaugurate the new parliament building by himself, completely sidelining President (Droupadi) Murmu, is not only a grave insult but a direct assault on our democracy... This undignified act insults the high office of the President and violates the letter and spirit of the constitution. It undermines the spirit of inclusion which saw the nation celebrate its first woman Adivasi President," they have said in a statement.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday responded to the congratulatory videos shared by three stars - Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth - on the new Parliament building and said the new building “is a symbol of democratic strength and progress”.
Modi, who had urged people to share a video of the new building on Twitter with the hashtag 'MyParliamentMyPride', also noted that through very emotional voiceovers, people are conveying a spirit of pride that the nation is getting a new Parliament which will keep working to fulfil people's aspirations with more vigour. He had tagged posts by several well-known personalities and movie superstars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth. The film stars posted on Twitter the video of the new Parliament building with their own voiceovers.

In a tweet, Shah Rukh Khan said, "What a magnificent new home for the people who uphold our Constitution, represent every citizen of this great Nation and protect the diversity of her one people Narendra Modi ji."

Reacting to Khan's tweet, Modi said, “Beautifully expressed! The new Parliament building is a symbol of democratic strength and progress. It blends tradition with modernity.”
Akshay Kumar said, "Proud to see this glorious new building of the Parliament. May this forever be an iconic symbol of India's growth story."
Reacting to his tweet, Modi said, “You have conveyed your thoughts very well. Our new Parliament is truly a beacon of our democracy. It reflects the nation's rich heritage and the vibrant aspirations for the future.”
Sharing a video of the new Parliament, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla tweeted, "This newly constructed building of Parliament is a living symbol of our great democracy, which will become a picture of new and strong India."
Replying to his tweet, the prime minister said, "These words of the Honorable Speaker of the Lok Sabha are going to further strengthen the heritage of Indian democracy, and will give a new impetus to the journey from Sankalp to Siddhi in Amritkal."
On Friday, Modi had said that the new Parliament building will make every Indian proud, as he posted a video of the newly constructed complex on Twitter and urged people to share it on the social media platform with the hashtag 'MyParliamentMyPride'.
